There you can even attend a Civil War Re-enactment.

Catch the myriad of events happening annually at The Bicentennial Center such as concerts, trade shows, and conventions.
Witchita, Kansas’ largest city, awaits you with many things to see and do. Enjoy the 3,000 acres of parks and playgrounds and a biking system covering 100 miles along landscaped picnic areas. In May visit the Witchita River Festival – 10 days with about 80 events happening.
